Can I buy Companion Studio without a Relay seller plan?
Relay CompanionYes. Companion standalone is a separate monthly extension purchase with its own AI allowance. It does not grant a paid seller membership or Relay inventory and storefront access. Paid Relay sellers already receive the website Studio and can activate the Studio extension using their seller plan allowance.
- Choose Companion standalone on Pricing or during seller plan selection. Review the separate price, AI allowance and payment terms.
- Install from the Chrome or Edge store button when available. While store approval is pending, beta testers can open the manual ZIP instructions. Paid Relay sellers can use the website Studio without installing an extension.
- Choose Connect my purchase, sign in and approve the connection you started. Return to the extension and choose Complete connection.
- Use local photo and video tools, or consent to send the indicated notes and samples to Google AI. Download your reviewed work.
- Manage renewal and revoke connected browsers on the Companion standalone page.
How do I get started as a buyer or seller?

- Choose Start free, then sign up using an available sign-in method.
- Choose your account role and complete the profile steps.
- For selling, choose a plan and open your inventory workspace.
How do I browse, filter and save finds?
ShoppingOpen Browse to search seller showcases by item, seller or keyword. Use Categories and Filters to narrow the selection; pets, livestock and vehicle options are in the category choices. Sign in to save sellers or items. Demo examples are labeled and are not for sale.
- Open Browse and enter your search.
- Choose a category or filters, or use Clear filters to start again.
- Open a seller showcase and follow a marketplace listing link to buy there.
How do I sign in or reset my password?
AccountsOpen Sign in and choose one of the methods currently shown. For an email/password account, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page to request a reset. Check your inbox and spam folder. A provider’s account approval happens on that provider’s page; never give this help assistant your password or verification code.
- Open the sign-in page.
- Choose an available provider, or enter your email and password.
- For an email password reset, choose Forgot password? and follow the email instructions.
How do I publish my seller showcase?
Seller profilesYour private inventory and your public seller showcase are separate. Edit your seller profile, add eligible listing links, complete required details and choose directory visibility before saving. A profile that is incomplete, inactive or restricted may not appear in buyer search. Use Buyer visibility to manage which saved showcase items buyers can see.
- Open Edit seller profile and complete the required details.
- Add the items and marketplace listing links you want to feature.
- Review directory visibility, save, then open your public seller page to check it.
Where do I add, edit or update a listing?
InventoryOpen Seller workspace to create or import an item, edit its details, or mark it Sold or De-listed. Every saved item stays in inventory history. Changing a Relay status hides the item locally and does not end external marketplace listings. No external-sale proof is required to change Relay status. A different physical item needs a new record and consumes a new monthly spot.
- Open your inventory workspace.
- Choose New listing, or open an existing item to edit it.
- Review your changes and use the item’s save or status controls yourself.
Does Relay post to every marketplace automatically?
Marketplace postingNo. Eligible eBay and Shopify listings can use automatic posting on paid seller plans with authorized connections. Other destinations offer guided preparation or account-specific drafts and submissions. The paid Relay Companion browser extension helps transfer listing details; you still review and approve publication. Sales are not automatically synchronized across marketplaces.
- Prepare and review your listing in Relay.
- Choose an eligible destination and complete any required account connection.
- Review the marketplace’s requirements and confirm publication yourself. After a sale, update inventory and end other marketplace listings.
Where are the AI tools for writing listings?
AI toolsThe listing-writing and pricing tools are in Relay Companion under AI seller tools. They are separate from this navigation assistant. Open those tools to generate and review your own draft; this assistant cannot write a listing, value an item, use your inventory or publish anything.
- Open AI seller tools after signing in.
- Choose the listing or pricing task you need.
- Review its consent and allowance information, then decide whether to submit your item details.
What is free, and where do I manage my plan?
Plans and billingBuyer profiles are always free. Seller inventory allowances renew monthly: Free gets 10 new items in the first month, then 3 per month; Starter gets 100 initially, then 50 per month; Growth gets 250 per month; Business gets unlimited new items. All previous records stay saved. Unused spots expire; selling or de-listing does not return a spot. The first-month grants do not restart when switching plans. Media, AI and showcase limits are separate. Monthly, 3-month, 6-month and annual memberships receive monthly allowances throughout verified paid access. See your exact balance and reset date in inventory; manage payments in Billing.
- Compare monthly, 3-month (5% off), 6-month (10% off) and 12-month (2 months free) choices on Pricing.
- Sign in and open Billing to inspect your current plan.
- Review the displayed terms before submitting any payment or subscription change.
Will a downgrade delete my listings?
Plans and billingA plan downgrade preserves your saved listings. Your current plan determines how many items and marketplace links are visible to buyers. Use Buyer visibility to choose eligible featured items or keep them private. When inventory exceeds your current limit, you can still review and edit saved items; adding or restoring more inventory may require reducing the active count or upgrading.
- Open Billing to review the available plan change.
- After a change takes effect, open Buyer visibility.
- Select the saved items allowed by your current plan and save your visibility choices.
How do buyers and sellers message each other?
MessagesRelay’s internal buyer–seller inbox is available for eligible Business sellers and signed-in buyers. Open Messages to view your conversations. A seller’s current eligibility, account restrictions and block preferences can affect access. This assistant cannot read, send or manage conversations.
- Sign in to your buyer or eligible seller account.
- Open a seller’s available message action, or open Messages for an existing conversation.
- Write, review and send your message yourself.
Where do I add photos and videos?
InventoryAdd media at the top of the listing form or when editing an item. Per listing: Free: 3 photos and 1 video up to 5 seconds each; Starter: 5 photos and 1 video up to 10 seconds each; Growth: 10 photos and 1 video up to 10 seconds each; Business: 10 photos and 2 videos up to 10 seconds each. Photos support JPEG, PNG and WebP up to 8 MB each; videos support MP4 and WebM up to 30 MB each. Free supports uploads without access to editors. Only paid plans include Relay Companion media editors: Edit photo for crop, flip, rotate, brightness, contrast and 10 filters; Edit video to trim, rotate, flip or mute. Relay Companion Quick Fix suggests photo adjustments; Quick-click video builds a slideshow from your photos with newly composed instrumental music and no lyrics. These optional AI actions use your Companion allowance. Preview and save the listing to keep your edits. Help chat does not accept uploads.
- Open a new or existing listing.
- Choose the photo or video controls and check the displayed plan limits.
- Wait for uploads, review the item and save it.
How do offline drafts and queued changes work?
TroubleshootingRelay’s computer/offline page explains local drafts and queued saves. Keep the same browser and device to access locally stored work, and check queue status when you reconnect. Review failed changes and retry as needed. Do not assume an offline save has been published to an external marketplace. This help assistant does not inspect or retry your queue.
- Open the computer app and offline-drafts page.
- Check the visible queue or saved-draft status on your device.
- Reconnect, review any errors and retry through the provided controls.
How do I block or report a seller?
ShoppingUse the seller or item options menu to save, block, mute or report where available. Blocking hides that seller and their listings from your buyer views; reporting is a separate moderation action. Your reports and account-status page shows available report information. Ratings use a 1–5 scale. This assistant cannot make moderation decisions or change your preferences.
- Sign in and open the seller or item options menu.
- Choose the specific action you want and review any confirmation.
- For report updates or account restrictions, open Your reports and account status.
How do I reach a person about my account or payment?
TroubleshootingOpen Relay support for the current support contact and useful links. For an account or billing problem, describe the page, what happened and the approximate time. Do not send passwords, verification codes or full card details. Marketplace purchases and refunds must be handled through the original marketplace. This assistant cannot view your account, verify a charge, issue a refund or contact support for you.
- Open Relay support.
- Use the email link and include a brief description of the problem.
- For privacy or deletion requests, explain the request without including unnecessary personal details.
